Rachna and Ankur wanted to hold their Augusta, Georgia ceremony outdoors, and they chose a unique location. For the first time ever, the Jessye Norman Amphitheater was used for a ceremony of this size.

The Jessye Norman Amphitheater was an amazing space to work with, but it posed some logistical challenges. Being run by the City of Augusta, the Amphitheater requires certain permits for larger events and private use. The venue also required power drops for all sound to be amplified.

All of the decor had to be brought in by large trucks, transferred to smaller trucks, and then staged during the early-morning hours of the event set-up, which began at 3:00 A.M. Remmal and Smita took on the challenge and produced a beautiful event that was a stunning and joyous event for all involved.

When it came time for the reception, the festivities commenced at the Augusta Marriott Hotel on the banks of the Savannah River. For her reception, Rachna tied in the vibrant pinks, oranges, and purples from her ceremony to give the room a festive feel.

We used light-capturing plum and orange crushed tablecloths, pintuck napkins, and gold spandex chair covers with bands by Got You Covered Linens.  The guest tables were accentuated with manzanita trees, candles, rose petals, and bright fresh floral carnation balls with hundreds of fresh blooms throughout the space.
